Tokyo Olympics still a concern.

The Tokyo Olympics are set to start on July 23.  Thousands of foreigners will come to Japan for the competition. With less than four months left to host the Tokyo Olympics. But in the wake of Corona, some local medical experts still appear to be opposed to the sport.
The torch relay has also started in Japan. Therefore, Japan will have a big responsibility to take care of all this during the Corona period.  With the second wave of the corona, Dr. Toshio Nakagawa has expressed concern.  Measures should be taken as soon as possible to bring Corona under control, he added.
 To host the Olympics, 50 to 70 percent of the population needs to be vaccinated against corona, but the pace of vaccination in Japan is very slow.  So far, less than one percent of citizens have been vaccinated against corona.  So it’s not too late yet.  We need to push the Tokyo Olympics even further, said a medical expert at Kiyu Hospital in Yokohama.  Expressed by Norio Sugaya.
Earlier, the coronavirus had led to the suspension of all major sports competitions around the world.  All eyes were now on the Olympics in Japan. Canada had announced that it will not participate in the Games due to the threat of the coronavirus.  Other countries were on the same path.  Many countries and sports organizations around the world were calling for the Olympics to be postponed.Attachments area
