Good Relations reflected between PM Modi & President Biden at quad summit , says India’s Envoy Taranjit Singh Sandhu
Talking about the first ever Quad Virtual Summit , India’s Ambassador to United States Taranjit Singh Sandhu said that PM Modi & President Joe Biden shares good relations in between.
The ambassador further added, At the Quad Summit , you could see that in the first five minutes of public viewing. The atmosphere was very good amongst all the leaders. India – US relationship is much deeper and this was very much reflected in the equation between PM Modi & President Biden.
Indian Envoy also recalled the PM Modi’s visit to US in 2014 & 2016 saying ” the equation between PM Modi & then vice – President Joe Biden was very good.”
Speaking to Ani , ambassador Sandhu said, “There are a lot of challenges right now which are international in nature like – minded countries need to come together to face them and the quad was one such platform”The leaders of the four – nation quad were – PM Narendra Modi , US President Joe Biden , Australian PM Scott Morrision , and Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga.As a significant step to counter China’s expanding vaccine diplomacy,The four leaders took the decision of investing in India to produce additional Corona Virus Vaccines by 2022 for exports to the Indo-Pacific region.
Sending an apparent message to china, The members also vowed to strive for a free , healthy, open, inclusive , anchored by democratic values, and unconstrained by coercion Indo – Pacific Region.
All the Quad Leaders pledged to have an in – person summit before the end of the year.
