ICC players ranking: Rishabh Pant at his career’s best ranking.
In the latest batting test ranking released by the ICC, Rishabh Pant has reached the top 10 for the first time in his test ranking. Pant is now at number 7.
Rishabh Pant has equalled Rohit Sharma. Rohit is also at number 7 in the Test rankings. Henry Nicholas is also at the number 7 ranking. Pant has scored 747 points. Rohit Sharma and Henry Nicholas have the same number of points.
At number 2 is Steve Smith, while at number 3 is Marnus Labuschagne. The Indian captain is on number 5 with 814 points and the top spot is with Kane Williamson in the Test, Williamson has 919 rating points. The ICC also congratulated Rishabh for his achievement in a tweet.
Ravichandran Ashwin who won the player of the series climbed up to the second spot among the bowlers. Washington Sundar, who gave an incredible performance in the IND VS NZ Test gained 39 places and is in 62nd position. Another Indian star spinner Axar Patel gained eight places to reach the 30th spot with 552 ratings.
Talking about the T20I batting table, KL Rahul has lost his spot by one and reached the third spot where Indian captain Virat Kohli remains in the sixth position as before. Australia captain Aaron Finch has moved up to second place from fourth. England’s David Malan topped the T20I batting table with 915 ratings.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi are in the top ranking in the T20I bowling and All-Rounder table respectively, while there is no Indian bowler and all-rounder in the table’s top 10.
Virat Kohli is at number one in the ODI batting rankings with 870 ratings followed by Rohit Sharma with 842 ratings.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Trent Boult is at number one and the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is at number 3 with 700 ratings.
Ravindra Jadeja is the only Indian All-Rounder in the ODI All-Rounder top 10 rankings. Shahkib Al Hasan is at number one.
