Rani Mukherjee announced her next film, ‘Mrs Mukherjee Vs Norway’ on her birthday. Bollywood’s one of the most versatile actress Rani Mukherjee is turning a year older today on March 21. She has now 43 and celebrating her birthday. This year, she wants to celebrate her birthday with her fans before her family! On the occasion of Rani Mukherjee’s birthday, Zee studios along with Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay entertainment have announced her next film-‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’. The film rounds in an untold story about a journey of a mother’s battle against the entire country. Currently, in the pre-production stage, the Ashima Chibber directorial, will be set to release very soon. Based on a true story, the film will mark the actor’s first collab with Emmay entertainment and Zee studios. Actor known for her relevant performance, calls it one of the special and significant films of her career. Rani who has decided to stay away from social media, takes Yash Raj Films Instagram handle to share the news. Sharing her excitement, the birthday girl said, “There could have been no other way to celebrate my birthday today than announce this really important film. In my 25th year in cinema, I have possibly signed one of the most special and significant films of my career. I have started my career with ‘Raja ki Aayegi baraat’ which was women-centric film and coincidentally in my 25th year, I’m announcing a film that is also centred around a women to resolve to fight against all odds and take on a country. Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is a story of true human resilience and it is a film that is dedicated to all mother’s out there. It is truly one of the most amazing scripts I have read in a long time and I immediately decided to do this special film. It is pleasure to creatively collaborate with Nikkhil Advani, whom I have known since Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! It’s amazing to see him and his company Emmay entertainment grow.
