Rajasthan Royals beat Delhi Capitals in a thriller

After winning the toss, Rajasthan bowled out Delhi for 147 for eight. Chasing the target, Rajasthan had lost half the team by just 42 runs.Chris Morris led Rajasthan Royals to a thrilling three-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in Mumbai. David Miller’s ‘killer’ performance in the adverse conditions hit Delhi hard. Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bowl first, holding Delhi to 147 for eight. Chasing this small target was not so easy for Rajasthan, they lost half the team by just scoring 42 runs. From here, Delhi’s victory was visible, but Miller slowly picked up the pace and scored 62 off 43 balls. The first six of the entire match came from his own bat in the 16th over. No one from Delhi hit a six. After Miller, Morris fought back. Morris smashed four sixes off 18 balls to seal the match for Rajasthan. Morris smashed two sixes in Tom Karan’s last over to seal the victory. Awesh Khan took three wickets while Chris Vokes and Kagiso Rabada took two wickets each. Earlier, the Delhi batsmen were bowled out by Rajasthan’s slow bowlers. Jaydev Unadkat undermined Delhi’s batting by taking three wickets for just 15 runs in four overs. Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ajinkya Rahane were the victims of Unadkat.  In addition, Mustafizur Rahman dismissed Delhi’s all-rounder Marcus Stoinis for zero. Skipper Rishabh Pant, who stood firm as the team struggled, led Delhi with 51 off 32 balls. Rishabh Pant scores first half-century as captain. Debuting Lalit Yadav (20) gave him good support.
