Mumbai Indians beat Hyderabad, once again defends a low total

Mumbai Indians got the victory by 13 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. By batting first, Mumbai gave a total of 151 runs to chase. However, Hyderabad could only manage to make 137 runs in 19.4 overs. This was Hyderabad’s third consecutive defeat in this year’s IPL season. Mumbai has moved up to number one on the table after winning the match.Batting for the first time, Mumbai has challenged Hyderabad for 151 runs. Kieran Pollard’s shot in the last over helped Mumbai to 150 for five in 20 overs. Pollard remained unbeaten on 35 off 22 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes.
Mumbai, who won the toss and elected to bat first, got off to a good start with skipper Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock. The duo helped the team cross the half-century mark in the power play. Hyderabad got their first wicket of Rohit Sharma who scored 32 runs. Suryakumar, who came after him, hit a four and a six, but he could not make a big play. He was dismissed for 10 runs. After this, the Mumbai team played very slowly. Ishan Kishan scored 12 off 21 balls while Quinton De Kock scored 40 off 39 balls. Even Hardik Pandya could not make a big play.
