Marvelous Marvin Hagler Dies at 66

Marvin Hagler, one of the best middleweight boxers in the history of boxing, died on Saturday. He breathed his last breath at the age of sixty-six. Hagler’s partner Kay G. Hagler informed about this sad news on Facebook regarding the death of the legendary boxer. Although no official cause of death has been revealed.“I am sorry to make a very sad announcement,” she wrote. “Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.”The world knows Marvin Hagler as ‘Marvelous’. He was a part of boxing from 1973 to 1987. He had a record 62–3 matches while two draws and 52 knockouts. His most famous match was at the Caesars Palace in 1985 against Thomas Hearns, which lasted just over 8 minutes, but was considered a classic match.Hegler won the World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association middleweight titles in 1980. He also won the title of International Boxing Federation in 1983.
