Kartik Aaryan Tests Postive for Covid

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to his Instagram and shared the news with his fans and followers.He shared a picture of the ‘plus’ sign which is commonly used in the medical world. He wrote, “Positive ho gya. Dua Karo.” Commenting on his posts, fans expressed concern and prayers for his speedy recovery.The news comes days after Kartik walked the ramp as the showstopper for fashion designer Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week’s 2021 edition. The actor was accompanied by Kiara Advani, who is also his co-star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, during his appearance on Saturday.Kartik is among the Bollywood celebrities who have been active on social media to motivate people amid the ongoing pandemic. In his own quirky ways, Kartik has urged people to stay in isolation and take the pandemic seriously. Kartik also started a hashtag trend #CoronaStopKaroNa to spread awareness with a touch of his famous ‘monologue’. This happened before Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Janata Curfew on March 22 last year.Kartik was last seen shooting for his upcoming horror comedy film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” where he features alongside Tabu and Kiara Advani.Shoot for “Bhul Bhulaiyaa 2 ” the Anees Bazmee directorial has already been delayed several times due to Covid. It is now being speculated that shoot will again be halted with the lead actor falling sick.Even kartik has interesting line-ups of projects – Dhamaka 2 and Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor.On a related note, several leading Bollywood stars had contracted the deadly disease earlier, including actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Neetu Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and others have been infected with the virus.
