Elavenil-Divyansh scored 211.2 and 210.1 in the second qualifying round respectively.  With a total of 421.3 points, the Indian pair was at the top.  Anjum Moudgil and Arjun Babuta, who were in the same event, could not participate in the main event as they finished fifth in the qualifying round.  This is Divyansh’s second medal in the competition. He had won bronze in the individual event on the first day.  Elavenil, however, was eliminated in the individual event.
National coach Mansher Singh believes that shotgun shooting in India has a bright future on the strength of young players. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore introduced shooting in India by winning the double trap at the 2004 Athens Olympics.Attachments area
