ISSF Shooting World Cup: Covid-19 cases raise concern
Six participants have tested positive, including two of India’s finest pistol shooters in the prestigious event.The rising number of Covid positive cases among the Indian shooters are ongoing ISSF World cup raised the concerns of the event organizer.Two rapid-fire pistol shooters reported positive on Saturday night, taking the number of cases to six. Athletes need to be more serious in following the Standard Operating Procedures(SoPs,)”.India’s rapid-fire pistol shooter Anish Bhanwala is in contention for an Olympic quota through the world ranking. Two of his teammates tested positive.Spectators are not allowed, NRAI has issued two passes for family members of Indian shooters who wish to visit the range.
