India beat England in the final T20I to win the series, Indian Top-order dominance.
In the decider match, India came as a better team as they beat England by 36 runs to win the series by 3-2.After being on the backfoot in the series, the Indian team did a good comeback in the last two matches.
England won the toss and choose to field, the men in blue started with a bang and put pressure on English bowlers from the start of the match which turned out to be a good tactical move by India. The new opening pair made a good stage for the power hitters, and they continued the momentum further till the end.Captain Kohli’s (80) and Rohit Sharma’s (64) along with Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya’s destructive innings helped India to get a huge total of 224-2.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wicket of Jason Roy in the very first over with a beautiful inswing ball but Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler built a partnership with good hitting that put pressure on Indian bowlers.England chasing 225 runs were at a good stage at the end of 11 over as their score was 120-1, but I’m next five overs they lost 4 quick wickets that changed the game and England just managed to put 188-8 on the scoreboard. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a brilliant spell that managed to stop English players in the chase.
Kumar snatched 2 wickets by giving just 15 runs in four overs.Shardul took 3 where Hardik and Natrajan got 1 wicket each.
Once again India performed well in a must-win high-pressure match that is a good sign for the Indian team.Thus, India continued their tremendous record in T20 series deciders, winning nine of the 10 bilateral series-deciders.Attachments area
