The Castro family’s six-decade-long rule in the Cuban Communist Party is coming to an end.

The glorious political era in Cuban history is coming to an end. Fidel Castro’s brother Raul Castro has announced his resignation from the presidency of the Cuban Communist Party. Therefore, the 60-year-old political storm of the Castro family is about to end.At the four-day party congress that began yesterday, 89-year-old Raul Castro announced.
From 1959 to 2006, Raul’s brother, Fidel Castro, held this position. Cuba is in the throes of its worst financial crisis in three decades. Inflation is uncontrollable. Food shortages are exacerbated.  
Raul Castro is now 89 years old and Cuba is currently struggling on several fronts. Cuba is currently reeling from the impact corona on of food and the economy, as well as US sanctions. Raul Castro came to power in 2008 after his brother Fidel Castro’s health problems.
With Raul Castro stepping down, 60-year-old Miguel Diaz Canel is expected to take over the presidency. Of course, Raul Castro has not given any indication yet.
The retirement of Raul Castro will be the first time in the last six decades that there will be no one from the Castro family to guide Cuba in the future. People are worried about what will happen next. Concerns have been raised in Cuba about how to deal with the difficulties. The Corona epidemic, the economic sanctions imposed by Trump, has hurt the Cuban economy.
The Communist Party of Cuba is made up of seven million workers and is tasked with doing the work of the country and society in the constitution of Cuba. Fidel Castro, who led a revolution that toppled dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959, became party president four years after formally embracing socialism in 1965. He then ruled the party unilaterally. He was the undisputed leader of the country till he fell ill in 2006. In 2008, he handed over the presidency to his younger brother Raul, who had struggled with them during the revolution.
