The FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match preview

In the WCQ Europe round one, France faced Ukraine, Belgium faced Wales, and Portugal Played against Azerbaijan. Both Portugal and Belgium won their matches but France was only able to draw its match against Ukraine.
FRANCE 1-1 UKRAINEWith a below-par start, France started their Qatar 2022 qualifying match with a draw against Ukraine. France who won the World Cup three years ago seemed that they will go home with an easy win when Antoine Griezman scored a fantastic goal in the 18th minute of the first half. All this was going well but at the 56th minute, the shot made by Serhiy Sydorchuk was deflected by Kimpembe and went into the net. An own goal was given. Later, the Les Bleus were in complete control of the game but failed to score a goal to win the match.
BELGIUM 3-1 WALESHarry Wilson from Wales gave a lead to the team by scoring in the ninth minute of the first half. Soon De Bruyne scored in the 22nd minute. The next goal was in the 27th minute by Thorgan Hazard. The match was decent and was going well. There were some chances created by both the team. At the 72 minutes of the second half, Lukaku ensured the victory for Belgium by scoring a penalty.Wales experienced the first competitive defeat in 12 games.
PORTUGAL 1-0 AZERBAIJANPortugal was not able to win the match on their own, as they were given an own goal in the 36th minute of the first half. The European and Nations League champions were surely dominating against Azerbaijan but failed to score any goal. Ronaldo was kept quiet too. Despite being dominated, they were not given any chance to score the goal. Later, Azerbaijan’s goalkeeper punched the ball but the ball was deflected by his teammate Medvedev and went into the net giving an own goal.
