Mithali Raj created history, became the only women cricketer in the world to score 7000 ODI runs
INDWvSAW: Mithali Raj has made another big record in women’s ODI cricket. Mithali is now named the first women cricketer who has scored 7000 runs in women’s ODI.
Mithali, who made her debut in 1999, is the second woman cricketer in the world to score 10,000 runs in international cricket while she became the first woman cricketer in India. Mithali scored her 7000 runs in ODIs in the fourth ODI match being played with the South Africa women’s team.
Apart from this, the second female cricketer to score the most runs in women’s ODI is England’s Charlett Edwards, who has a record of 5992 runs. Mithali is the first cricketer in the world to score 6000 and 7000 runs in women’s cricket. Edward’s is still the leading run-scorer in women’s international cricket. She has scored 10,273 runs so far.
So far, India’s female legend Player has played 213 ODIs. Mithali Raj’s performance was instrumental in the success of Indian women’s cricket. From 1999 to 2021, she has been playing continuously on behalf of the Indian women’s team. She is also the cricketer to score the most centuries from India in ODIs. She has scored seven centuries for India.
