CM of Uttarakhand Rawat resigns.

A Resignation letter of CM’s post has been submitted to Governor Baby Rani Maurya by CM Trivendra Singh Rawat on Tuesday. This resignation happened after the meet of BJP party leaders with Rawat in Delhi and final discussion was taken in Dehradun.
In a statement by Rawat he mentioned that “The party took collective decission that someone else should be given a chance as Uttarkhand chief minister. Said rawat after meeting the governor. It has been reported in the meeting of BJP party leader including former CM Raman Singh and 45 party MLA’s that the state was not happy with Rawat’s leadership and belived that he may not be able to lead the party to the success in the election due in February 2022.
Seeing the situation Congress party’s leader Harish Rawat challenged BJP that no matter who ever they bring next, but the elections of 2022 will be in their hands. He can feel the power of change, says Harish. 
The probable contender for the chief ministers post by BJP are, Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and state tourism minister Satpal Maharaj . State minister Dhan Singh Rawat and senior leaders Ajay Bhatt and Anil Baluni could also be considered for the top post.
